Drawing on early childhood memories of her grandparents and Mexican culture, she focuses on whimsical images of animals.

This piece is a monoprint created with old wooden blocks from my time at Hatch Show Print, I was designing a Aerosmith poster and kept the mess ups. Years later I pulled this background out and decided to print Pretty Boy over it, it created an interesting story, flames, bound hands, a longhorn, who knows what’s going on!
