WHO IS FAT CROW PRESS?
Fat Crow Press is the print studio of Julie Sola. Located in a historic building built in 1900 as a saloon, later a wool and hide mercantile. Julie showcases a variety of original artwork from artists around the United States.
The focus of Fat Crow Press is to spread the love of printmaking — letterpress workshops will be offered throughout the year as well as many other creative workshops that involve printmaking.
In Historic Las Vegas, New Mexico
Fat Crow Press Studio is located in a historic building built in 1900 as a saloon, after a few years, it was bought by the Taichert family and became a wool merchant and Mercantile. We fell in love with the building and purchased it in 2021, we live upstairs, and the studio and gallery are on the first floor.
Las Vegas New Mexico is a very historical town with a vibrant art community. My studio is equipped with a 1964 Vandercook universal 1 press and a Potter press, I will be focusing on workshops to spread the love of printmaking as well as making my own art and showing the work of fellow artists.
